Hindu Scriptures Forecast the Arrival of Muhammad

Puranas are as old as HINDUISM and date from prehistoric times. The authorship of the Puranas is attributed to Maharishi Vyasa and he compiled his knowledge in 18 volumes. In 1935, Dr. Pran Nath carried out extensive research and published his research in leading newspapers of the day. He proved that the Rig Veda contains events of the Babylonian and Egyptian kings and their wars. He also believed that 20% of the Vedas were derived from Babylonian Scriptures. This is accepted by most history students,

Many Hindu books prophesy about Prophet Mohammad. In addition, many important references to

him like Abraham, Kaaba, Bakkah (Makkah), and Arabia are also mentioned. They mention about him and refer him as Mahamad, Mamah, and Ahmad. The name Mahamad appears in the Puranas, Mamah in Kuntap Sukt (in Atharva Veda), and Ahmad in Sama Veda. Prophecy in The Puranas The compiler of the Puranas, Maharishi Vyas wrote eighteen volumes of rare wisdom
the Puranas and one by the title ‘Bhavishya Puran,’ means future events.

The prophecy containing Prophet Muhammad by name is found in Prati Sarg Parv III: 3, 3, Verse 5. The Bhavishya Puran says that a Malechha a spiritual leader will come and his name will be Mahamad. The prophesy further states in verses 5-27 of the Prati Sarg Parv III: 3, 3 that the man will be a dweller of Arabia.

His followers will be circumcised and he will eat all meats except swine. The book also states that this man will fight all evil and his followers will spread all over the world. The Vedas also contain many references to Prophet Muhammad. Atharva Veda and Sama Veda III: 10, Mantra 1. relate about Muhammad.

The mention of Muhammad is undeniable in the Hindu scriptures, but one wonders if people will accept it.

Tank Baithalon in Russia and India took part in 2017

The Baithlon a Tank Olympics was held for the 3rd year in Russia

Ever heard of a Biathlon? well if you haven't then read on. It's a tank competition and is often referred to as the equivalent of the Olympics for tanks. These are heavily armored vehicles with mounted guns and machine guns and are the pride of any army. They are considered the elite and are referred to as Armored corps.

The idea for a tank competition was thought off by the Russian defense minister and so far 3 tank Olympics called a "biathlon" have been conducted: all in Russia. in 2017, 19 nations have entered and so has the Indian army with two T-90 tanks and a crew of six. The Biathlon opened on 29 July and will continue to 6 April 17.

The Biathlon consists of a firing competition, precision shooting, racing, and relay racing. It is a real test for man and machine and India has done well though they have been unable to match the Chinese and the Russian tanks and crew

An Indian Single Malt whiskey to Rival the World

Indian made foreign liquor has caught up and the best of scotch the single malt whiskey is now manufactured in India

Whiskey is a refined form of alcohol. It has many layers of class but the classiest of the lot is single malt. What is a single malt?  It is a whiskey that is first distilled and is the purest form of alcohol. It is supposed to have a special taste and connoisseurs who have savored a single malt whiskey will look for nothing further than this.

Single malt whiskey is normally the preserve of Scotland and some famous names like Glenlivet, Glen Morangie, and Glen Grant come to mind. Single malt was not made in India tough IMFL( Indian made foreign liquor) is manufactured with some good brands like Peter Scott, Antiquity and Indian made lower end scotch being the fare.

There has been a change and an Indian single malt has been marketed. I first saw a bottle in a wine shop in Abu Dhabi and the shop owner told me to try it, as it was good whiskey.

It is manufactured by the Amrut distilleries of Bangalore and is the priciest Indian brand. Titled "Amrut Fusion" the whiskey is certainly a rival to single malt brands from Scotland. Not many in India have as yet savored the brand as it was first exported. Now, this brand is available and the top end bars and shops will stock it. This brand is also available at the elite "rays bar" in Abu Dhabi and many foreigners have liked the taste of the whiskey, which is mild and does not rush to the head. Its a whiskey to be savored in good company preferably with a young woman.

However, one thing going against the brand is that production is very less and that can be a bit of a dampener. The whiskey is now also introduced in the defense canteen service and soldiers have liked the taste. Maybe it does not match Glenmorangie but I would place it a close second.

The Last Japanese Soldier to Surrender (World War II)

The Japanese soldier surrendered in 1975 and was allowed to go home

Romatic tale of Lieutenant Hiroo Onoda.- Last Japenese soldier to surrender

The war ended in 1945 but one Japanese soldier hid in the jungles for 30 years before he surrendered. He was treated with honor and allowed to go back to Japan

The case of Lieutenant  Hiroo Onoda is both fascinating and thrilling. He was the last Japanese soldier to surrender in the Philippines.

The Japanese had invaded the Philippines under General Homma and the American General and supreme commander McArthur  escaped by the skin of his teeth. He was resoundingly defeated and overall showed poor generalship vis a vis General Homma. McArthur had his  revenge and smarting with the earlier defeat after a trial got general Homma executed in 1946.

This is not what I want to mention but is incidental to this thrilling tale. One officer of the Imperial army Lieutenant Hiro Onoda was perhaps not aware of the surrender after the Atomic bombing of Japan and hid in the dense forests of the Philipines. Onoda and three others took to the hills to continue to fight the war.

One of his group ran away in 1950 and surrendered.

The Japanese lieutenant continued his life in the jungle and sometime attacked the Philippine police. People in japan were worried and the army sent a official messenger to inform Onada that the war was over.  Onada surrendred finally in 1975 and gave up his sword. This was returned to him and he was tried for crimes. But considering the exceptional circumstances of the case President Ferdinand Marcos gave a presidential pardon to Onada and he was allowed to go home.

Lieutenant Onoda came back to Japan and realized that he had become ahero. He didnt like it one bit and migrated to Brazil. But he returned home and started a campaign in favor of the emperor and older values. Onoda died in 2014 at the age of 91. He had joined the army in 1940.

The fierce loyality of Onoda and his  determination to fight on make a very romantic tale. A film was made on his life by Hollywood and yes: Onoda did marry in 1976.

Onoda was aman of character and he refused all the money given to him as back pay. When well wishers insisted he take the money he donated it to the Yasukuni Shrine.

Loving an American Girl

When you are 46 and the girl is 24 , is it a case of a mismatch? I wonder but this is precisely what happened: a lovely girl who came into my arms and the fact that she was American perhaps was the icing on the cake. American girl and icing to the cake? Well, its something most men feel in this age and part of the world.
I was asked after my stint in the Air Force to take up an appointment and I must say I was lucky as I headed a United Nation`s `community project for tribal development in the heart of western India at a place 90 miles into the Ghats at Mumbai. I was the director and under me, we had a string of specialists and qualified men and women who were doctorate holders. Things hotted up when a young American doctor landed from New York. She was to be part of the health development of the tribals who lived in an era that was long past.30+ American Girls Photos, Pictures & Wallpapers
Sally, for that, was her name was a lovely girl. She was about 5ft 4 inch tall and with 3-inch heels was just about taller than me when standing. She wore short pants most of the time and one was struck  with the curvaceous calves and lovely bare thighs. Add a slim waist and a fair complexion with auburn hair tied in a ponytail just about accentuated her looks. She was a doctor, yes but extremely feminine.

.I took a momentary decision and decided that Sally would accompany me on all my trips and so she became a willing partner with me as we moved in the dense forests of the Ghats and the villages of the tribals. She was good natured and we both hit it well. She was inquisitive about India and I told her a lot, even about the erotic sculptures at Khajuraho. In about 2 months we became close and I worked my proximity as a director and boss over her to my advantage. One fine day it rained and we all know the thundershowers in the Ghats are something unreal. We sat in the land cruiser and the thunder boomed and boomed again. It was a veritable clash of titans as lightening flashed across the sky; the clouds hung low; creating darkness all around.Discount American Girls Bikinis | American Girls Bikinis 2020 on ...

A boom and a crash followed and by instinct I pulled Sally to me. It was a dream, a dream I had planned for long. Remember all this was stage managed as I held her and kissed her. The resultant atmosphere all around with weird flashes of lightening and booming of thunder played its part as the inevitable happened and Sally was mine. Was it a seduction? Did I do anything bad ? it started a relationship that lasted a long time; in relativity though only 2 months. She went back and tumultuous events followed after that , but that is another tale.
