Take it with a Pinch of Salt. Modi may well shake History

Here are some prediction of Nostradamus. these are translated, but I cannot vouchsafe for them. What do they state ?

French prophet Nostradamus wrote that from 2014 to 2026, a man will lead india, whom initially, people will hate but after that people will love him so much that he will be engaged in changing the country’s plight and direction.

This was predicted in the year 1555. Written in French and translated into Marathi language by the famous astrologer of Maharashtra Dr. Ram Chandra Joshi. It is clearly written on the 32-33 page, “Wait Ram Rajya is coming”

A middle aged superpower administrator will bring golden age not only in India but on the entire earth, who will revive his Sanatana Dharma and will make India the best Hindu nation by defeating the evils and would be placed on Power of its Own.

Under his leadership India will not only just become the Global Master, but many countries will also come into the shelter of India.
I have also recieved a mail that I am reproducing below.
..

o Buddha was married, but he left his wife and went out in search of the truth. His wife lived alone. His wife’s name was Yashodara

o Mahavira was also married, but he also left his wife and became monastic. His wife lived alone. His wife’s name was Yashoda.

o Modi also married, but he left his wife and put his life in serving the nation. His wife is also living alone. His wife’s name is Yashodaben

“ YASHODA, YASHODARA AND YASHODABEN “ IS IT JUST COINCIDENCE OR HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF??!!.

Facts can be very strange . Right ?

Islamic Concept of Paradise. * 75

Islam, Paradise and Virgins

Concept of 72 Virgins in Paradise for the True Believer

Islam is the second great religion in terms of followers in the world, yet I am not sure that people have really understood what Islam says. Islam recognizes that the Koran is the word of God. I accept this belief in the Koran as the word of God and Mohammed as his chosen prophet. Having accepted this belief, it stands to reason that what ever is written in the Koran is true and inviolable.
One of the beliefs in Islam as spelt out in the Koran is the belief in virgins as a reward to the faithful after they die. The Koran clearly states in section 52-56 that those Muslims who have spent a lifetime in service to Islam and lived their life as per the teachings of the Prophet will go to paradise, where at the gates the man will receive virgins as a reward for a life time of service to Allah. There is no mention of any reward for women believers.
The concept of virgins is the bed rock of Islam. This is agreed by all and they are supposed to impart sensual pleasures. Muslim theologians like Ghazali (died 111AD) and Al- Ashan (died 945 AD) have similarly concluded that the purpose of the Houris is to provide sensual pleasures. Many later writers have tried to give a philosophical interpretation, but the theme of sensual pleasures is recurrent.
The number of Virgins that a man will get in paradise is not defined in the Koran. This is however elucidated and amplified in the Hadiths. The Hadiths as a source of Islamic thought are of equal importance as they contain the words of Mohammed as overheard by his followers. The Hadiths were compiled about 200 years after the death of Mohammed.
The Hadiths clearly specify that 72 virgins will be the just reward to a true believer who has lived his life as per the injunctions of the Koran . Further amplification as to the physical characteristics is given by the Hadith of Shah Imam Bukhari. He states that the celestial Houris are pure virgins who have never cohabited with any man. He specifically mentions that they have never been even touched by any other man or Jinn. The Hadith of Al Tirmidhi in the Book of Sunnah (chapter 21) is the source of the figure of 72 virgins in the chapter Features of Paradise. Women convicts in Islam who are virgins are repeatedly raped by their captors, to prevent them going to heaven as virgins go to paradise.
The Hadiths add to what the Koran says. They also mention that the virgins sweat will smell of musk and they use combs made of gold. They will dwell with the true believer in a large palace of immense proportion. Al –Suyati another famous Quranic commenter in 1505 AD. has indicated that the main purpose of these celestial virgins is to satisfy the man. He also goes on to state each time a Hourie has sex with the man, she will again regrow her hymen. The man will have an eternal erection .

The Khanda: Weapon of the Sikhs and Rajputs

Introduction
The Khanda is a sword that is very unlike the conventional Indian sword called the Tulwar. The Tulwar is a curved sword while the Khanda is straight sword. Unlike the Tulwar which has an edge only on one side, the Khanda is double edged sword. The blade of the Tulwar is slim, while the Khanda is more like a broad sword with two edges. In addition the Khanda is extremely heavy and could weigh anything up to 40kg.

Two hand sword

The Khanda was a two handed sword and was used with both hands. Warriors moved into battle using the Khanda with both hands and swishing it from side to side with deadly effect. The Khanda is part of the history of North India and there is not much evidence that it was used anywhere else. Basically the first warriors who made use of the Khanda were the warrior Rajputs. Rana Sangha carried a Khanda with lethal effect in his battles with the Moghul rulers. The earliest use of the Khanda is found in the Mahabharata. But as the weapon was unwieldy, its use was less.

The Sikhs adopted the Khanda and Baba Deep Singh the famous Sikh warrior used it in his battle to regain control of the golden Temple. The Khanda used by him is preserved at Hazur Sahib in Nanded district of Mahrashtra. It weighs 40 kg.

A Special weapon

The Khanda was a weapon which by its sheer weight could not be used by all the warriors. It was slightly cumbersome and was thus not used by the mass of Infantry soldiers. Thus the Khanda had a restrictive use and some warriors used it, more as a distinctive sign than anything else. After the Sikh Muslim wars the Khanda went into disuse and with the advent of the musket, the Khanda became redundant.

Last word

The Khanda must however be remembered as it was a unique weapon and had its own aura. It was weapon of the Sikh and Rajput warriors and deserves a place in the history of weapons of India. Suffice that the Khanda was not used by any warrior outside the sub continent. India has a checkered history and the Khanda occupies an honored place as distinctive weapon of war.

Did Subhas Bose Die in 1945 ? * 73

Subhas Chandra Nose was one of the towering figures of the Indian freedom movement. One can fault him for his methods, but not his zeal for an independent India. Bose led the opposition to that maverick Gandhi and followed a different line. He is supposed to have died in an air crash in Formosa in 1845.

The question that arises  is that there is some evidence to show that Bose may have faked the air crash to escape from the clutches of the Allies as he was a war criminal and the Indian leadership led by Gandhi had agreed to hand over Bose to the British  for  a trial as a war criminal. In such a scenario Bose may have escaped to China and then to Russia.

Thr real facts are that Nehru was petrified that Bose may come back. One wonders whether he really believed that Bose had died. Probably not and there may be evidence that he knew more and had some dirty linen to hide. But again I will say that nothing sustainable has emerged about Bose. the recent de classified files in Bengal throw no light on this great mystery of the death of Bose. One can make no definite deductions.

The real mystery must be unravelled for the Indian people and the sordid hand of Nehru if true must be exposed.

The Indian Girls and their Wearing Bikini

The bikini has as yet not become the norm among Indian girl

175522-top_foto1-g8si5.jpg
The Moslem's introduced the Purdah system in India. This meant seclusion of women in their homes or the harem. They were not allowed to venture out and generally lived a life subservient to man. With advent of the  British after Robert Clive’s victory at Plessey in 1757, the wheels began to churn in a different direction. The British enforced a common law and abolished a lot of nefarious practices like Sat, widow re- marriage, Child marriage and age old customs that discriminated against women. A breath of fresh air began to blow.
The Raj, the period of British rule was an opportunity for Indian women to come forward. After India became free in 1947 the marriage law for Hindus was also reformed and women began to come forward at the work place and sports. Over a period of time a lot of women have also taken to swimming. By corollary the swim suit is no longer taboo.
But still the Indian male keeps the Indian women on a leash and has as yet not reconciled to the fact that a woman is equal to man in all respects. Thus when visiting a public beach, most women will be seen loitering about in a sari or other covered dresses. Hardly any women can be seen wearing a swim costume; however this taboo of wearing a bikini is also going down. But still a lot many women may not have the courage to venture in a public beach like at Juhu in a bikini. But in private swimming pools and five star hotels Indian girls will don the Bikini. It is a statement of identity and hopefully this will catch on in the years to come.

However with the advent of beauty contests and the winning of beauty titles by Indian girls, this taboo of wearing a bikini is also going down. But still a lot many women may not have the courage to venture in a public beach like at Juhu in a bikini. But in private swimming pools and five star hotels Indian girls will don the Bikini. It is a statement of identity and hopefully this will catch on in the years to come.

Bihar Election is Announced: Who will win ? 59

The election to the Bihar assembly is announced by the Election commission. The disconcerting part of this election is that it will drag on for over a month and that in my view is not how an election is to be conducted. the EC thus has done a singular disservice to the voter by dragging on the election in a protracted manner.

This is however a prestigious election and the Modi government's reputation is  at stake. The happy news for Modi and teh BJp is that the opponents a hotch potch alliance of Nitesh kumar and Lalu Yadav have a string of criminal cases against the RJD leader Lalu Yadav and he is already sentenced to Jail for 3 years.

Thus in my view this hotchpotch alliance between 2 men Nitish and Lalu, who were daggers drawn for 3 decades  is only a marriage of convenience and one has to just watch and realize that the main thing is the distrust between the two. The BJP is no better, but it is a cohesive force and there is no baggage of leader sentenced to a jail term

Bihar is a caste cauldron and most voting is on  caste basis. This is the bane of Bihar. But despite this teh NDA headed by the BJP is likely to scrape through.. Probably a simple majority is on the cards and I am fraid Nitish has chosen the wrong horse and is likely to be defeated.

Goa is the Most Progressive State in Indian Union

The state of Goa was under rule of the Portuguese for a good part of 300 years. The effect of Portuguese rule was both good and bad. However their rule was different from English rule as the Portuguese integrated their overseas territories with the mother country. They also enforced a form of the inquisition and about 30% of the Goans converted to Christianity.

The Portuguese did some far reaching social engineering and now in hindsight we can see that what they enforced was good.  The Portuguese abolished Muslim and Hindu personal law and enforced a uniform civil and marriage code. Muslims had to accept that obnoxious provisions like Triple Talaq and Multiple marriages were banned.  Muslims had to obey the civil code which gave equal rights to Muslim women. One wishes the British had enforced such a code in India and helped the Muslims get out of the ghetto of obscurantism.

Goa also became more progressive as the Portuguese brought in emancipation of women and gave them equal rights.  Thus a visit to Goa will show women moving about freely and most girls are advanced in dress and thought.  This state of affairs is to the credit of the Portuguese who ruled Goa. One only wishes the rest of India had taken aleaf from the Portuguese rule in Goa.

Modi is a Pastmaster of False Promises: Greatness will elude him

Narendra Modi has completed 25% of his time allotted to him by the Indian people , but sadly he has not done even one percent of what he had trumpeted. Modi thus will have a lot to answer to history and one can conclude that greatness will elude this man who may well sink as one of teh unseen prime ministers in indian history.

Look at his promises and the BJP manifesto and all can judge this man

a) Promise on OROP not full filled
b) Promis to bring back black money a damp squib
c) no progress on uniform civil code
d) No progress on Article 370 and article 45 of the Constitution to furher integrate Kashmir with indian
e) No let up in anti India activity in Kashmir
f) No progress on the touted Ram Temple
g) nO ache din as prices have sky rocketed
f) Gujarat Model a failure as  was seen with the recent Patel agitation.

Modi has a lot to answer. If he pulls himself up he could be 'great' but otherwise he goes in the dustbin of history. Amen !
