Emirati( Muslim) girl takes to Fashion and the Cat Walk

Dubai and the UAE are unlike any other place in the Middle East. This is one of the best places for the flowering of fashion and arts. Exhibitions of painting and high-flying fashion shows are held to make Dubai one of the contemporary top art and artistic places in the world. All credit to the ruler of Dubai to have brought this about. Visiting Dubai gives you an unreal feeling as one is witness to stupendous architectural marvels like the Burk Khalifa. Dubai also holds international fashion shows and girls and top models from London, Paris, and New York adorn the catwalk. Dubai and the UAE are unlike any other place in the Middle East. This is one of the best places for the flowering of fashion and arts.

There was a welcome change as a local Emirati girl  Rafeea Al Hajsi took part in the show. She is a girl from the UAE and she confessed that she had an uphill task to rise up in this profession. The event she took part in was the "Arab Fashion week" which is in its 3rd year. Last year's edition had a new girl who was a local Emirati. The show lasted 5 days and attracted record crowds and visitors. It was also broadcast live all over the world.

She was lucky as she was spotted by Lebanese designer  Aiisha Ramadan. The designer offered to showcase Rafeea in her own catwalk show. Rafeea has large brown eyes with height and poise and it showed when she was awarded Arab Fashion week's best-dressed model.

Rafeea has also taken to the ramp in France at the Paris fashion show and this can only be considered a feather in her cap. She has now established herself, and her distinction of being the first fashion model from the UAE is a record that will remain forever. Others will follow but the ice is broken by Rafeea.

Why China is not Accepted in Comity of NATIONS.?

This is not the case. The fact is China has spoiled its copybook by imprisoning millions in concentration camps and at the same time carrying out genocide of Tibetans and Muslims in Sinkiang. China is also trying to dominate the world by conquering Tibet, not respecting international agreements like the Hong Kong agreement and judgments of the International Court, and forcefully occupying the South China Sea. This is the reason the world is disgusted with China and until there is an implosion and this regime is changed China will not find acceptance. We should not forget China is the successor of the Nazi regime of Germany.

China is a country that cannot be trusted as the Indians under Nehru found out soon enough. It is now imperative for the world to unite against the dragon and free the people of Tibet and the Muslims of Sinkiang.

India vs Nepal:Time to Crack the Whip

People must understand that the way India is treated needs to change. By killing one Indian with a bullet Nepal shows it is not bothered about India. Would anybody have the courage to kill an American there will be hell to pay? For that matter just kill a Chinese and then see the reaction. The Indian policy of being meek and mild has to be thrown overboard.

I am reminded during the Vajpayee government 15 Indian BSF soldiers were killed by Bangladesh rifles and there was not even a ripple in New Delhi. The Indians have come out with a guarded statement this again shows a lack of ability to exert. With everybody turning against India in the neighborhood because of the deep pockets of China it is about time that Modi cracked the whip. Field Marshal Clausewitz said Those who fail to exert their power are doomed in the comity of nations. I have nothing more to add.

Remembering Jake Le Motte, Who Inspired 'Raging Bull'

Boxers have for centuries fired the imagination of the artist and the painter. America has been home to boxing legends for the last 200 years where men like Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammed Ali, Joe Louis, and Jake LaMotte became legends. Jake was perhaps a shade below some of the greats of boxing but a film on his life starring the Hollywood actor Robert DeNiro catapulted him into the limelight. De Niro won an Oscar for the best actor for his portrayal of the boxer.

The World Middleweight champ died in bed in a hospital in Miami. He fought 106 bouts with 30 clean knockouts. His bouts with Sugar Ray Robinson, another boxing great are now legendary. They met 6 times and LaMotte won only once. He died at 95. CANT FORGET HIM
