Is Russia being 'Squeezed' by China on the World Stage

The words ' squeezed' were used by Joe Biden after his last meeting with Vladimir Putin in Geneva. He had referred to China when he uses these words. The fact is the Russian economy is not strong and has now become completely dependent on China. This is more so after the Western powers imposed sanctions on Russia. Putin would like Russia to be known as a great power in the world like it was during the days of the USSR.

 Russia is only a shadow of its old power and its economy is in the doldrums and it has become dependent on China for its survival. In that case, one can safely say that Russia is being squeezed by China and they would like to get out of the Chinese embrace so they can flower as a world power. As things stand China is now the bigger power because of its economic clout and economy of $15 trillion GDP compared to the Russian economy or $1.5 trillion.

Holodomor massacre in Ukraine.

The Holodomor massacre in Ukraine Is held against Stalin and Russians. Many allege that 10 million Ukrainians died of starvation. I think almost 15 countries have passed a resolution calling this is genocide. In India, hardly anybody has heard about this massacre but it is important to know what actually happened.

In 1932-33 the situation was pretty bad and the harvest had failed in most Russian states and it should not be forgotten about 3 million Russians also died of starvation. There was nothing much Stalin could’ve done at that time as there were also threats to his regime. Nevertheless, it was a very sad event that’s so many people should die in Ukraine.

The actual number of people who probably died is not more than 2 to 3,000,000 but that is also a very big number and I do agree that Stalin could have done something more but then with the harvest having fail and Russians also dying of starvation, I wonder what was the solution.

Pakistan greatest threat to World peace

There are many nations but the biggest threat emanates from Pakistan. It is a

nuclear-armed state and at the same time there is a lot of instability there and the extremist Islamic elements are holding the country to ransom as we have just seen with the latest violent demonstrations bordering on Civil War. The reason is the policy of France, this is just like lighting a match to the tinderbox and God forbid if the army becomes radicalized and the nuclear weapons fall into the hands of these jihadis. Pakistan is also harboring terrorists and running terrorist camps and there is no doubt that the entire country poses a great threat to the security and peace of the world.
